first RPAS test flight

last week MISTRALE performed the very first test of GNSS reflectometry on-board a RPAS. the payload is not the MISTRALE final one yet, but the objective was to complement the data collected last summer using the very light aircraft with data collected with a UAV.

The reflectometry computation is ongoing, but a couple of initial analysis seems to indicates that the data will be very good. As an instance, comparing the position computed by the GNSS receiver with the top antenna and that with the bottom antenna shows a good signal to noise ratio, it is also observed that less satellites are visible via reflection compared to the direct signals
